Hiring. New-hires are brought to MSP for 1 day of orientation and then sent home for 30 days to complete a home study course. After the 30 days, they are returned to MSP for 1 week of ground school and then sent to Montreal for 30 to 45 days for systems/sim. New-hires going to all three domiciles.

NWA mainline flow through: Once pilot has been with Compass for 30 months and is a captain, he has the right to go directly to NWA on an "as needed basis", based on seniority. Example: NWA needs 10 FOs for the DC9, NWA calls Compass and the next 10 pilots that choose to flow up are assigned class dates at NWA.

Must sign $12,000 training contract, valid for 1 year. Amount is pro-rated $1,000/month.
